Conducted an in-depth typographic study exploring the variations and applications within the Gotham type family. This project focused on researching the history, structure, and functional versatility of the typeface while experimenting with hierarchy, composition, and typographic systems. Through comparative analysis of different weights and styles, I examined how Gotham performs across editorial, branding, and informational contexts. The study emphasized readability, clarity, and modern visual communication, highlighting Gotham’s geometric construction and its effectiveness as a contemporary sans-serif typeface. The final specimen demonstrates how typographic choices influence tone, usability, and visual identity.
